ADA 2007: Access for All!

The Americans with Disabilities Act is about equal opportunity and access: access to education, transportation, employment — everything life, and life in America, has to offer. It is also about literal access to our city streets. EOCIL celebrated ADA Day 2007 by marching and rolling in celebration of Ontario, Oregon's, new curb cuts. Ontario Mayor Joe Dominick welcomed the advocates and presided over the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Two things shone even brighter than the sun that day: the smiles and high spirits of the community.
